How did you all not see this coming. I have been saying for over year that they aren't going to sit by and lose money because you don't want to cable.

the next step is going to be coming down HARD on people sharing passwords for ESPN, HBO, etc as well as completely illegal things like Kodi (they are in that process right now)

I'm not sure they were. 4 years ago, I got cox internet and paid something like $43.99 for 50 mbps. A few months ago, I was paying $62.99 for 15 mbps.

I switched to AT&T the week it became available in my neighborhood.

And it's only going to get worse. There is nothing stopping companies from doing this.
