The committee needs to go to the wayside. The BCS-era computers generally put the teams in the proper ranking order at the end of the year IMO.. with the expansion to 4 teams, by all means, let anyone in the top 4 compete for the championship.

This is what was proposed by Mike Slive in 08 but only the ACC commish supported it.

that's what everyone wanted

I wouldn't be opposed to allowing computers to count MOV either, which I remember was not allowed because people were afraid of running up the scores.

Maybe cap the effects of the MOV in the mathematics such that any victory over some arbitrary amount (like 14 or 17 points) registers the same.
