Can you imagine The Rant if LSU had been the losing victim of the blind umpire? That would have been epic. The announcer summed it up pretty good when he said that the umpire's calls were spread to both teams, but that LSU's pitching was more accurate and wasn't as dependent on the ump's decisions. All told, he was terrible.

If there is anything like a review board for umps, this ump may never call another college game.
It's hard to figure how he could have a strike zone from stripe to stripe of the batters boxes. Not the edge if the inside stripes but the entire stripe. How does a guy come to that decision? The only thing positive about his calling was it stayed consistent for both teams.
That said, we used what was given. OSU didn't.
