What did you expect? Him to challenge Davis or Cousins for starting time? A rookie being rotational bench player is pretty much what you expect unless they're a top of the lottery guy.

If you get that, its a win. If Jackson is a 7th man in 2-3 years, that VASTLY exceeds expectations for a pick at 31.

Do you know the median PPG for a 31st pick? It's 2.6ppg

Guys like Allen Crabbe are among your best case scenarios -- a guy who takes a few years and then takes off.

And Jackson has potential to be better than that, but it takes time. I know we live in a microwave society, but you can't truly expect these picks to be guys that really matter anytime soon. Can you?
