Sounds like they only shot one... in a real world scenario, they're sending up a hell of a lot more than one
Sounds like they're trying to reach 100% capability, so by firing just 1 at a time they can work on that

Interceptor systems have an exceedingly low kill rate. And it's much easier for them to spoof our interceptor, than it is for us to overwhelm their barrage with missiles.
