You can get an RX 580 for about 180 less.

If your monitor doesn't support at least 2K, then the 1070 is overkill. You won't see much in the way of benefits from it until your screen can support the higher end.

I'm incredibly happy with my RX 580. I run Overwatch smooth as silk on my PC.

i7-6700k
RX 580
512 SSD for the OS
2x 2TB Drives for data
16GB G.Skill DDR4 RAM

The point is, if you have no intention of going beyond a 1080P monitor, then the 1070 is more than you'll probably need for a very long time. If you plan on getting a 2K or 4K monitor, then I would save up for the 1070 or 1080 models.

and yea a rx 580 or 1060 6GB may be enough for this guy. you're right

Yeah seeing as how this is gonna be my first pc im planning on going with a low budget so a 2k monitor sounds like what im gonna go with. Thanks baw
