Some of the bombs have lasting effects. I've found a combo of bombs and spraying to be the best. I buy the big jug of spray at Home Depot and hit all the windows and doors both inside and out with it about once a month. And then I will set off multiple bombs in the basement/garage of our house to kill anything down there.
