Ford will be introducing a diesel in the F150 later in the 2018 models

No details on it yet but sounds interesting.

This has been in the works for some time now. I'm interested to see what the numbers look like. They don't typically release stuff like this (especially fuel economy) until it gets very near release.

Would be cooler if it was a 4 banger.
Likely to have the same issues as all of the other diesel trucks recently released: costs too much, makes too much power, and available only in the expensive trims.

The dodge smaller eco diesel has been a huge flop. i would proceed with caution.
