I threw out Waterchase when you posted on the OT Lounge.
Bridlewood was suggested. Fun course for sure. Not too hard, but has a few challenges.
I don't think anything in DFW is too far of a drive. Use GolfNow and you'll find great deals all around you.
Also not far from you is IronHorse. It's in North Richland Hills. Depending on which direction the wind is blowing, it can be somewhat easy or really hard. Depending on your handicap, an 8-10 stroke swing on your scorecard.
