So this is the only time the US Open was played under "wet" conditions? This arguemnt trying to justify the bellow facts is really just silly at this point.

Its the course. All the hand waving about the weather is just that. Did it make the course, even more, player friendly than if it were dry? Of course it did but the course was already player friendly to begin with.

Just hope the USGA learns from this.

Who says the baseline is even par? Nobody, including the USGA. If this golf wasn't exciting, I don't know what to tell you. I personally enjoyed watching these players bomb it off the tee and not having to hack it out sideways when they missed a fairway. To each his own.
