The discussion would be there. but for QBs championships are the end all be all.

Brady and Montana are always going to top the list.

Brees could get close to P Manning if he wins another one and then that would be the top 4.

Bradshaw won 4 titles but never was thought of as a great QB.

Umm...Dan Marino

If Brees wins another championship that puts him even with Manning and Elway and ahead of Rodgers (for now) and Favre. I think a strong argument could be made for him especially if he holds all of the QB records.

As far the OP saying he had no hall of famers I would argue that Evans could potentially end up in Canton. He's been in the league over decade now and was an elite guard for most of that time. Darren Sharper would have been a lock had he not been a serial rapist. Not sure how Jimmy Graham's career is going to turn out but he was on that trajectory when he was here. Just my opinion but an argument could be made for Colston. He's in the top 50 in reception, yards, and touchdowns and is ahead of a few other current hall of famers. Slim chance but you never know.

Brees is Joe Montana without Jerry Rice. Honestly, if Brees were running the 80s SF office he would have won just as many SBs.

Unitas only won one SB although he did win two "NFL Championships" and he is considered one of the GOAT.

In that context, Brees should be considered part of the discussion.
