Figure Falcons suffer hangover but Panthers bounce back...can this Saints team be more than just fun to watch their offense?

Drew could win 4 games throwing to himself. Saints haven't been worse than 7-9 under Payton's tenure. Stop being a dumbass. I say over. 10 wins.

100% depends on winning the opener under Sean p.
If we lose the opener, we will lose to New England and start like 0-3.
If we beat Minnesota in opener, I believe it's a playoff season.

Over at 10 games.
Just put a decent defense on the field and they will be fine. I get the feeling the pieces are in place to make this happen

Still too many question marks on Defense. Even more so with Fairley maybe done. Right now 8-9 wins seems about right.

The only question this team faces is health. IF the defense, especially the secondary, stays healthy we are winning at least ten games. That is a very big IF though

they'll hover around 7/8 like usual, miss the playoffs and get the 15 pick and take a defensive player no one likes

I still see 7-9 unless I see improvement with the defense during camp and preseason games.

You guys realize the Saints were essentially a 10-6 team last year. They were 3 blocked kicks away and in terms of how efficient their offense and defense was they were a top 8 team on the football Power Index. They really weren't far off last year and they got better this offseason. As a more mature team this year they should have no problems executing their way to a 10-6 season. Sky is the limit for this team. You act like all these playoff teams have these rosters stacked with pro bowlers and all pros. They were just a tad more talented and a lot more lucky. With this offense, the Saints only need a 20th-25th ranked defense to win 11 plus games. With a HOF QB, a 3 headed monster, and a top 5 OL we really only need a halfway decent defense to make a serious run

Need to get through preseason and without too many people on the IR to assess.

It opened at that at some books. The over 7.5 was the right play. I would play for the over 8. This team isnt that far away from 10 wins. The defense will be 100% better than last year on coaching alone. The secondary will be worlds better. LBers will be much better. The DLine has question marks with no Fairley but I think we will be ok even if he is a no go. The offense will be much improved.
