What a weird legacy he would have if he left his hometown team two times during his prime.

Home state team, but yeah, it'd be weird.

He's from Akron (a city notorious for hating Cleveland).

Also, while I'm at it, frick 94.7% of the state of ohio.

He will not be in his prime. It will be his 16th year in the league. He's already not as physically dominant as he was in Miami.

True. If that were to happen it would be his 16th season, though so I'm not sure "prime" is the right word-- but yeah, I feel you it would be a tough pill to swallow for the hometown. I guess if they lose to GS in the finals next year he's more likely to bounce but I could honestly see him leaving either way. If LA can put together a team that rivals GS in star power after being 1-3 against the warriors in the finals, I can't really blame him since the emphasis is almost exclusively on rings today

He's gonna be a guy who takes wayyyy less than he's worth to chase rings like David west. What a bad look

Cleveland's extremely lucky that Lebron happened to be from around the area. What star has ever left, then gone back to the team that drafted him and won a title? He's paid his debt to Cleveland and then some.

I'd love to see him go to the Lakers. Lakers fans would have so many mixed emotions.
