No surprise that the trend of a "super team" will continue. Could he be joining forces with PG and Kanye Westbrook? Who else? I'd take Kyrie over RWB 10/10 but LA's cap space is mightily attractive compared to Cleveland. I'd be glad to see him finally put the "but he's too scared to go to the west" rhetoric behind him, even if it is with a stacked roster.

What a weird legacy he would have if he left his hometown team two times during his prime.

Hasn't there been this speculation every offseason since he went back to Cleveland because of the 1 year deals? I don't think he leaves but we'll see.

Also, I like that he's likely to join a team IF he leaves. Good job Woj.

If he made that move, and I were a GM, I wouldn't want anything to do with him. I mean Cleveland has basically destroyed they're money for the next IDK how many years after he leaves. They're gonna be in the lottery the year after he does.

Is the short term success worth financial ruin for the years after? That's the question I'd have to ask as a franchise or GM

If he comes to the Lakers, he needs to accept the fact that this is Lonzo and LaVar's team.

I can't ignore this.

wat?

As for leaving in 2018...

That'd be fun. I thoroughly enjoy watching him tinker with teams until he has them playing as efficiently as he can. I learn shite about the game watching him get a team from a buncha dudes to peak basketball play.

As a bandwagon "by default" Ohio Cavs fan I think it would be fricking hilarious he left.

He is the best current player in the NBA (and you are dumb if you argue otherwise), but he is THE reason the Cavs are plateauing with players (and a coach) who cannot get it done. Last year was a fluke and now it is becoming more and more obvious this team isn't going anywhere.

Although it is still speculation, to see him leave would be almost a relief that I don't have to listen to the drama that he brings almost everyday to Ohio sports and the excuse making radio that comes with it.
