I don't. I'm pointing out the dangers of generalization and the hypocrisies that can end up being a result. Many of the left clearly argued that those who support the public and/or private display of the Confederate flag condoned Roof's actions and that to allow the display of such images in the future would bring pain to the victims. If we use the logical endpoint of that train of logic, why can't we extrapolate that to Bernie and socialism now with today's attack?

You can. It just puts you on on the same intellectual and emotional level as "the left". No difference between you if you utilize their logic when it's convenient.
