You're laughing at people saying Curry but not the ones saying Anthony Davis?

Kawhi, Harden, Curry, Davis in that order.

Westbrook is a phenomenal one man band, but I can't ever see him evolving his game the way KD did in GSW this year to be a contender.

I think Harden elevates those around him, and would look spectacular next to guys like AD in the PnR. He just looked like such a joke in the last playoff game that people will overlook him.

Curry isn't the 3rd best basketball player in the league, man.

]Undervaluing what he brings to the table on offense, nothing that shows up in his boxscore.

Habserstroh and those dudes talked a lot about gravity, not sure if you ever saw that. Basically with/without the ball, which players have the defense gravitating towards them. Curry was so far and away ahead of everyone else, LeBron included, they basically concluded he's had the most "gravity" since Shaq.

You can't put that into a Steph boxscore, but what he brings to an offense with 30 foot range is invaluable.

He also just capped off a quiet near triple double in the Finals.

Yea, I don't think Westbrook or Harden can really sniff this #3 debate IMO.

Is this a podcast or article? That's something I would like to hear discussed. I actually mentioned on here last week how Steph is essentially the reverse Shaq in that regard, but it would be cool to know if Habs helped quantify that in comparison with other players like LeBron.

They're both obviously awesome but we saw both at the height of their powers this year and their teams weren't close to elite status. And neither play any defense, at least Curry tries.

It's an Insider article.

It's a bit different than I explained it, but still solid. And it's also from 2014, so you can safely assume Steph has even more gravity nowadays compared to then.

Here's another that just explains what gravity is, not an Insider article:

Did KD have more gravity than Steph this year?

And if Lebron doesn't have more gravity than Steph then I don't like the stat.

Shel will know better than I, but I would think Steph would have more gravity than KD when you consider how they are used. He's one of the best screen setting guards because of his shooting threat thus Kerr runs a ridiculous amount of action using Curry off of the ball. No matter how good a defense is, teams will have breakdowns off of those screens that leads to a wide open back door layup because both defenders end up following Steph to the three point line. Heck, KD got at least two wide open back cuts just by faking a screen for Curry against Cleveland. His gravity is really one of the main things that makes their offense click.

It's hard to judge how teams defend Golden State. They have three starters that are elite scorers from everywhere on the court. Remember Kevin Durant hit about 500 dunks in game one because of the fear of the three point shot.

I don't think anyone team in the league can effectively defend against them.
