You know, we can piss back and forth forever, but you have claimed that LSU is comparable to vandy in how surprising it is that they are signing top flight players. That is the topic YOU have gotten off of, and you are 100000% wrong about that.

The first comment I made about Vanderbilt in this thread was to say people have just as much reason to be surprised by Vanderbilt's class this year as they would Lsu.

Clearly you have issues with reading comprehension, staying on topic, and factually supporting your arguments. Maybe this whole message board thing just isn't really for you.

have no clue how long you have watched LSU or sec basketball, but I go back to 1977. Once again, the problem has NEVER been can LSU attract great talent in hoops, it has been, can we manage, coach, and keep them together long enough. I have a suspicion (and hope) we have cured that with Will Wade.

Getting a big recruit 4 times every 9 years is not indicative of a basketball recruiting powerhouse. Neither is having 1 NCAA tournament victory in the last 10 years. When a school with that track record suddenly pulls in a top 5 class with multiple highly ranked players from places they havent traditionally gotten players from, it's going to lead to questions/suspicions. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. Because it's already happening.

I really don't understand what is so difficult to comprehend about this.

I really don't know what else can be said to convince you that historically vandy hasn't been close to LSU in recruiting. It is well known that historically LSU takes a backseat to few schools in the recruits they are able to sign, and certainly vandy isn't anywhere near LSU in that comparison. But go ahead and continue to insist that 2+2=5.
