I have not researched this, but have been an avid LSU fan since the Dale days. I am pretty sure over the last 40+ years, LSU is SOLIDLY in the top 25 schools for basketball recruiting, vandy is not. LSU getting great players is not an anamoly, it has happened for years. We always have 5+ players in the NBA in any given year, not a hell of a lot of schools can say that.

Depends on how it's measured I'd imagine. There have been a few great players/classes, mixed with A LOT of very lean classes.

Not a direct correlation to recruiting success. Garrett temple and tyrus Thomas were not big recruits. Jaime Lloreda did nothing in the NBA.
