Are allergies kicking your arse?

Yes, it is south Louisiana and it is a year round thing..... but seems like something is going on the past few weeks that is above normal.
Anyone else having a worse than normal allergy problem right now?
And before we get started... yes, thank you. I'm sure it's "the aids", and yes, I know the only problem you have is getting my mom to leave. Now, back to the original question.

It is more than ever. Go get skin allergy tested and do immunotherapy with weekly injections. 15 weeks of build up followed by one year of maintenance. You can do Zyrtec, Flonase, and all the other ones, but the only true "cure" would be immunotherapy, in my opinion.

need to see pics of your SO to determine what types of reaction she could be causing.

Yes it's been a worse than normal allergy season for me as well

Did you drink formula as a baby? That might explain why your immune system is so weak

Yes I'm struggling with it right now.

I take a shot about once a month and it seems to help, but I can tell when it wears off and start with nasal spray

allergy season here in central MS has not been too bad this year...I assume because the change of seasons has drug on for longer than normal.
We actually have a lot of colds & flu going around this part of the state, which should also be done by this time of year.

I went to immunotherapy for literally 3 years. In fact, I did it twice because the first time, it didn't really do shite. So that's 6 years of shots in the back of each arm every week. In the end, I learned alternating Flonase, Astellin, and Dymista every few months along with a Claritin tablet every morning keeps me good to go.

If you boys can't handle a little plant jizz then I don't know what to tell you.
Eta: seriously, how are you guys getting your arse kicked by a plant?

Nasacort, sinus rinse, and alternating Zyrtec and Allegra is how I survive.
Sinus rinsing is weird, but it definitely helps washing out all the allergens. Just don't use tap water unless you boil it first. Wouldn't wanna get a brain amoeba.

The old "summer cold", turns out mine was oak tree pollen, Flonase for the win.

They are spraying the skies almost daily now. Could have something to do with it.

I can barely breath this year. Before this year, I never needed medication of any type. Something is different.

The warmer weather here this last winter didn't kill off all the shite it should have (plants and bugs included). It also resulted in a longer spring season.
It sucks.
It sucks.
