Panama has a tough road ahead. They still have to play @ both US and Mexico.
I want the draw, too. It would still prevent Honduras from really getting much closer.

T&T just evened it up at Costa Rica and look like the better team right now.

If we can end both games right now, this would be a great night. Go down to Mexico and not lose ground on anyone.

Costa Rica scores against the run of play via Bryan Ruiz with a nice strike.

Honduras with a 2-1 lead at Panama in the 66th minute.
Panama equalizing would be nice.

Roman Torres just equalized for Panama in 90th minute.
This is perfect if the result holds.

Honduras/Panama ends in a 2-2 draw after 10 minutes of stoppage time

LOL. Ten minutes of stoppage seems about right for your average Honduras game. That's a great result for us.
Our qualifying campaign was off of life support after the Panama game in April, and after these results this week, we're in great shape.

Was important to hold 5th place to no more than 5 points. Keeping Panama to 7 was icing.

Over the last 2 games, US, Mexico, and CR got 4 points. Panama got 2 points. Honduras got 1 point. T&T got 0 points.

We're a point ahead of Panama for 3rd and 3 ahead of Honduras for 4th.
Even better, we can now really separate ourselves from Panama when WCQ's resume in September. On Matchday 7, we get Costa Rica at home while they have to go to the Azteca. And plus, they still have to come play us in October.

Looking at the remaining Hex schedule, September 1st will go a long way in determining how it all plays out. We host Costa Rica, Mexico hosts Panama, and T&T hosts Honduras.
If results go our way, we'll finish the day in 2nd place with a gap of 3 points at worst over the 4th place team. Trinidad pretty much has to win their next two games, since they finish with the US and Mexico.
