You're never gonna get that experience unless you get there though. Present them with a team that causes them match up problems and give it everything. Stranger things have happened.
But we will need a lot more offense from the perimeter. And someone on the wing that can create offense and make defenses respect his dribble drives.

Don't hold out hope for this. Don't let this be your bar.
I have followed this franchise since 1993 and there have been more bad seasons than good. A playoff birth is rare. Give me 47-52 wins and I'm good. No reason to shoot for the impossible. Let's just all be very satisfied with not embarrassing
