Why just because Comey wrote something on paper, it is taken as exactly how Trump said it or meant it or used those exact words, etc. You have a bitter man who got fired. Unless a verified tape is produced or Trump verifies those exact words and meaning, this is nothing.
He made these notes at the time and not after he was fired. Notes from an FBI agent are considered admissible in court as factual evidence.
If you wan't to go down the road of "he's probably lying" then you are gonna have a bad time.

They are admissible as evidence but not as truth. "Admissible evidence" includes the truth, lies, misrepresentations, mistakes, opinions, etc. The fact that it is "admissible" says little of its veracity or reliability. That's for the judge, jury, or other decision-making body to determine.
I think Comey's version will largely be credited as reliable as to the gist of the conversations, but people will question whether the wording is exact (whether due to natural memory issues or possible bias even if they were made relatively contemporaneously with the meetings). His summary memos will not have the same weight as says a recording would have, but it will likely have more weight than a recounting of the conversation by Trump at this point.

Do we really know that they were made at the time of the meeting or just because he says it was so? Could they have been made last week and Comey is lying?
I am not saying he is lying, just asking how do we know when they were written...
