I consider myself a Christian but I like Heavy Metal: Metallica, Slayer, Lamb Of God, and Ghost. Can you consider yourself a Christian and like Metal?

Yes. Most metal uses dark satanic themes, but is actually about overcoming one's inner demons and vices, and rising above them. It typically has a fairly Christian message despite unchristian pagan symbols.

I believe you can. However, I usually stay away of songs that obviously denounces Christianity or faith - i e The Hand That Feeds by NIN.

Sure you can but have you listened to some bands out there who are Christian or at least are comprised of mostly Christians? There's some really strong ones that tour with some heavy hitters:

Of course you can. There are so many metal moments in The Bible. Remember when Jesus casts out demons and the demons went into a herd of pigs then the pigs ran down the mountain into the sea and died? That's pretty metal.

We (my wife and I) find Ghost to be funny. I'm not sure which song it is but lyrics basically say "are you ready to swear before the devil". But then PAPA Emeritus (sp) says that they are a very spiritual band. WTF
To me the heavy metal devil worship is much like WWEits all show. Some may actually believe and thats ok but for the most part its just a show.
