Exactly, unless you are doing it for health reasons or it fits your lifestyle then don't do true Keto. And 150g of carbs is not much at all and prolly about where you should be( just guessing here based off type of questions asked)

Look there are advantages to Keto, most notably hunger control once the addiction to sugar is broken, which is where you are now. But unless it's capatible to your lifestyle then don't do Keto if you aren't going to stick to it.

The are slight thermogenesis advantages to a traditional Keto diet and certainly many health benifits, but let's not try to fit a square peg into a round hole, that's stupid.

The small benefits you gain from being Keto are small in the long run, even the health benefits compared to losing the fat in general.

Intermittent fasting, Keto, carb backload, carb cycling,, fat fasting and psmf all work 95% because of a caloric deficit and all off small metabolic and nutrition partitioning effects with Keto offering the smallest advantages of them all, but they are all useless unless you stick to it. Unless you are weird like myself and like being a test subject and being a glutton for punishment stick to something you can sustain until you reach your goals. Useless otherwise and if you feel deprived all the time you are going to develop an unhealthy relationship with food due to binges and the guilty feeling you get. That's what we want to avoid.

Now me, carbs upset my stomach, the lower on the glycemic index and the less processed they are the less trouble I get, so I choose to stick to higher fat diets or diets that are carb backloaded with carbs only intra and post lifting sessions. But that's me.

Rocket is about the same bf% as me and he eats pure if it fits your macros and enjoys all kinds of crazy shite, but he tracks calories, macros and measurments to make sure he stays where he wants. And once you get really good at it, you only need to track a few times a week(not that the shite is hard anyways).

Many people from the food and drink board have shredded tons of pounds, some upwards of a 100, using Keto style diets. Why were they able to do that, it fit their lifestyle.

Stop letting other people dictate what fits your lifestyle. Figure it out yourself through critical thinking and trial and error. I mean if you prefer oatmeal over eggs, the answer is clear.

If you think you have to be low carb to lose weight, google the Twinkie diet. Don't do it, but just understand how it works.
