right now the Dodgers def have it together but i think come July or so the Cubs, LAD and WAS are all on the same level still. STL and maybe one of COL or AZ may be right there on the door

Good. frick the Cubs. They'll probably turn it around since the division sucks, but they look so fricking bad right now and I love it. Getting swept by the damn Padres.

where were you last year?

Ace's can be count upon every year. Not just when it fits your confirmation bias

Guy, you weren't the one taking on all these Cubs fans a few months ago about how their pitching staff won't be half as good and worse than the Cardinals.

The Cards are a .500 teams a 3.81, wish I could say you were in an enviable position

Cubs are still 5th in the NL with a 4.11

he made 26 starts last year. My assertion that he wasnt a true ace was correct. My question to you was, where were you last year?

I shouldn't have to answer an extremely moronic and pointless question, but to answer your question anyway I've been an Astro fan my entire life.

You're not as smart as you think you are if you truly believe this. Another dumb statement.

The Cubs are playing their worse baseball they'll probably play all year and are still less than 3 games back of winning the NL Central. They'll be fine.

Stros don't need a true ace to go the distance. Look at the Cubs, they won it all last year without one.

Lou you are damn right esp with the way McCullers is pitching. My assertion was always they needed a bonafied ace or at least a 1B guy and Lance is pitching like that

but lets not get carried away Lester & Hendricks finished 2-3 in NL Cy young voting

If Houston got Cole that 1-2-3 is very comparable to what Chicago had last year. McCullers holding up throughout the season is the big question

Lester and Hendricks had fine seasons but don't have ace stuff IMO. Was kind of an anomalous year for you guys.

Hendricks doesnt, you're right, which is why he wont dominate every year much like Keuchel

Lester has ace stuff. Last 3 years 32 starts per year

2.74 ERA
627IP
625 K's

you can pencil that in at the front of a rotation and sleep well at night
