He is going to come to the meeting with a list of your LinkedIn contacts. He will ask you if he can contact them using your name. I have a friend that works there. Every year for my birthday, he offers to buy me lunch. Same shite every year. He is a good friend, so I try to put him in touch with some younger guys, but I always reach out to those people first to let them know my friend will be calling. Friend has had success rolling over old 401k accounts for a few people, so I don't feel too bad about throwing him a few names each year.
