I used to work in the Caremark/CVS building close to where you are. My advice to you as a single no kids cat is to simply pick one of the nice new condo/apartment places right around the 161/114 area and make your commute as easy as possible. If you take some of the advice here, you'll instantly hate life due to the traffic going in almost any direction. Murphy? Celina? Frisco? McKinney? Dear God... Keep your work/home commute short and when needed, spend your time in a car going to entertain yourself.

Yeah, if you're working in Las Colinas it's best to live there or at least stay away from Collin County. It's apt to get "more best" as the exurbs continue to expand upward and outward.

There is a very convenient DART rail from Las Colinas to uptown/downtown Dallas as well..
