That says nothing about Rich's laptop having emails on it or being in the possession of the FBI.

Really? Since we know that according to WikiLeaks the source is Seth Rich:
Murray told the Daily Mail the emails came from DNC insider with legal access to the emails who had knowledge of the corruption within the Clinton Foundation leaked the emails because he was frustrated with the DNC rigging the Democratic primaries against Bernie Sanders.

Tell me, if Seth Rich was the leaker, where do you think the e-mails were?

You would think. I know I have. Maybe he gets in better threads than me?

Maybe. I learned long ago that entertainment is where the value is on this site.

I understand. but my statement was that there had been a report. I did not vouch for the veracity of the report. It was a throwaway statement that some on here are latching on to as if the statement was a linchpin to the Seth Rich conspiracy.

I actually don't know what to believe about it. Who knows what to believe? In todays day and time there is so much disinformation going on on both sides nobody knows what is real and what is not.

Well that's a big if.

Also if Seth Rich (who had an IT background) wasn't a complete idiot when it comes to IT Security, he wouldn't have those emails on his laptop.

I'd say it's probably bullshite based on what we know. Unless you're willing to accept some significant level of conspiracy. I am not. I'll leave that to the goldennuggets and SeaSerpentUGAGuys of the board.

The source of the e-mail leaks seem to be insinuating it was him.

Smart people do dumb things all the time. And if he had the e-mails he would (I think) have a backup copy. The big red flag for me, is where is the backup copy?
Another red flag? How did he get the e-mails? Like I said...I haven't really been following this too closely. (I prefer to wait until there is more than just a little smoke) In his job, would he have access to all those e-mails? Seems odd for a relatively low ranking person to have access to sensitive e-mails.

I have no idea, actually. I have noticed that if something seems too far fetched it is usually true, and if something seems perfectly plausible it usually isn't true!

But he also doesn't reveal sources.... sooo that leaves us in a bit of a conundrum.

Maybe he wasn't the source so there is no backup copy?

I would agree. Maybe he backdoored his way into them. That puts the assertion that Wikileaks' source obtained them "legally" in question.

Of course, he does mention a worker for the DNC walking home and being murdered in DC being the source. Kind of narrows it down, don't you think?
Assange on Seth Rich

That is possible. hence the red flag.

WikiLeaks isn't concerned with legality. If somebody did something illegal I think they should be arrested. However, I don't think the information should be ignored.
But yes. The two red flags I mentioned leaves some doubt in MY mind as to the Seth Rich story.

then they should release the source

they have already heavily implied its Seth

if they had evidence, they would release it

I mean, I suspected this "conspiracy" was bullshite from the start. There was no evidence, and it wasn't really even plausible. The facts at the time pointed to exactly what DC police speculated. As new conspiracy nuts came up with new theories, they were quickly and thoroughly debunked by factual information.

They then shifted and shifted, until it became what it is now. They've dug themselves in too far now, and anything that contradicts the things they've convinced themselves of is met with increasing levels of stupidity. Facts and evidence be damned. They kow what happened, well, because they read it on Infowars or Your News Wire, and those people surely have no interest in making shite up.

This is nothing new, but there it is.

Using your logic, (and I tend to agree with you) then CNN, ABC and NBC and all the others should be revealing their unnamed sources for all of their information, should they not?

They did everything but spell it out.

Yes and no. there have been sources talking about all the Trump allegations and reported as fact.

Yes.

Exactly. So Assange "not revealing his sources" is bullshite.

I'm not talking about the MSM and Russia.

I'm talking about Assange. Stay on topic.

I don't know. How could it be a robbery when nothing was stolen? That is the big red flag on the other side for me.

Reminds me of the Russian collusion with Trump stuff.

Honestly, I think they have devolved into a "You started a conspiracy theory, so we will start one!" type of situation. One conspiracy will be met with another one. This could go on forever.

When you get Maxine Waters involved it just gets worse.

Yeah, it is. But he will fall back on that he never said the name. Yes. I agree. It's pretty weak considering, but it is what it is. This is what politics has devolved into.
