Look. I get that Rickdaddy has an absolutely deserved reputation on this board that makes him insufferable.

But, the reality is, it's absolutely dead on to say that Coach O hasn't been LSU's head coach yet. Those who don't understand this don't understand what being a head coach means at a major college.

No one in here is going to confuse me with a Miles fan either, so save those barbs.

I hope O does well. I hope his hire turns out to be a great example of a risk working out.

But, the bottom line TODAY is, he has the worst resume in the SEC. He's NEVER had a successful Coordinator position and he's NEVER had a successful HC position.

That's not being nega. I don't consider it a given that he will fail. He may well succeed.

But, wanting him to succeed doesn't require head in sand syndrome.

I thought I was universally loved on here. So much so that my last post ever on here will change how time is viewed and will usher in a new calender.

Spot on.

I find the posters comical and the arguments ignorant.

- You want CEO to fail, some LSU fan you are!
- Give the guy a break, everyone deserves a second chance.
- Don't rank my coach next to last, he's much better than those other failures.

Here are the facts:
- Every LSU fan wants CEO to succeed.
- CEO was not qualified to be LSU football HC.
- Alleva got his precious feelings hurt and hired CEO.
- CEO has only run a program one time - and it was a complete and utter failure - even by Ole Piss standards.
- If CEO was positioning himself for a second chance, his career history doesn't show it.
- He was literally out of football when Miles hired him. There wasn't a timeline to go coach a smaller school, learn up and better his chops.
- And with all of that, he's LSU HC and somehow he should be ranked above 12/13 other SEC coaches?

I hope CEO goes undefeated as LSU HC, skulls everyone in LSU's path. But to think he should be ranked high on some arbitrary list of SEC coaches is retarded.
