I watched that youtube video. He looks quick. I love that kid's work ethic. I hope he gets a fair shot. In Canada I trust

He got a shot, he's not good enough. Deal with it. The guy he lost to needed back surgery and he still wasn't good enough.

Follow my posts. I caught several practices and scrimmages. There was never a competition to lose. Each guy was locked in order from day one. I think DE should be the guy. After him, 2, 3 & 4 never got a real look. Nobody "lost" a competition. The staff invested the reps in the senior qb. The other guys got what was left. Not what I heard. It's what I actually saw.

People who make their money by winning football games will play the best player. Especially in their first year. No conspiracy, Etling is the best.

I love Danny. He had a really good spring. I disagree with 90% of what's thrown out there about him. He's way more athletic than people think. I watched him take off a few times this spring. From ground level, he's moving. There is going be discussion about who we develop next though. You just have to expect that.

Who knows? I certainly don't claim to be God. If anyone would have told me in May of 2016, that CEO would be our head coach, I would have said they were crazy. And I don't know that he has to be the starter. It would be interesting to see a guy with his skill set packaged in. A few years ago, people were screaming that the kid would never get an offer. If he (or anyone else) can help us win games, I'm all for him.
As long as he is an LSU tiger, I'll root for him. Plus, I like to see guys working hard and getting better.

Man I hope we don't have fans that are pulling for a guy cause he's black or white. I hope our fans want the guy (or guys) that give us the best chance of winning. I promise you, our players don't care what color their teammates are. They just want to win.

I don't know. We seem to be loaded everywhere else. I watched him this spring. He's a QB. Create packages for him. Start whoever you want. Problem solved. IMHO
