#NOPD is investigating a double shooting at Iberville and Crozat. The initial report states there are two male victims. #NOPDAlert

Probably gonna take as long for all the best and brightest to come back as i took for them to leave...so what's that, like 2100 we should start seeing results?

So how long are these threads going to keep popping up?
I'm guessing every shooting over the next year will be followed up by two or three threads about statues.
Going to be a long year. LOL

Give progress some time. The shooters must not have been aware that the statues were taken down. Likely too busy at their jobs to watch the news.

Guys, calm down. We just have to move the statues farther away from the city. The statue's racist energy is still too strong and too close to the city.

This is what happens when you refuse to take down a statue of Joan of Arc

Iberville at Crozat
We all know Iberville was an oppressor and exploiter, Crozat (that's Antoine Crozat, marquis du Châtel to you and me) was the first proprietary owner of Louisiana. The perps this morning were probably driven to murder due to the double residual oppression of Mssrs. Iberville & Crozat.

This guy was 10 blocks from the scene about half an hour later:

Today i was walking to my car, along the street, and a black man behind me said to me "Wherever you go in life, you'll make the best of it"

I turned around and told him that it was interesting thing to say because I am moving to Atlanta. I was actually packing up my car with some stuff to bring to my parents.

He stopped and said "Wooooow. Stay blessed"

It was quite a moment. Its like it was a sign that everything was going to be ok now that Lee is gone.
