Why doesn't Sportscenter ever highlight college baseball

Because it's still Softball season.

Because outside of the SEC, UNC/Duke area, and Columbus Ohio nobody gives a damn about college sports compared to pros.

Because Connecticut sucks at it.

why would a national sports channel cover college baseball? Outside of the SEC nobody even knows it exists, and even in the SEC it isn't very popular.

I was at walk ons tonight and every TV except 2 were college baseball, the other 2 were the NBA playoffs. You will not find a situation like that anywhere else in the world

Because very few people outside of Baton Rouge care a whole lot, frankly.

In terms of national interest, college baseball falls somewhere below the national kindergarten double-dutch tournament and above the WNBA. Without the interest, they can't sell ads, and without ads they won't show it.

Keep in mind that outside of relatively small pockets of typically fairly low population areas, college baseball isn't particularly popular. In major areas you've usually got an MLB team or maybe even a solid established AAA team that the area's baseball fans are going to follow. Hell, even in the popular areas its a handful of schools that are popular enough to turn a profit with their baseball program alone. Step outside of the LSU-area bubble and you'll see that college baseball is an afterthought to most.

Because outside of a small area in the south nobody gives a shite about college baseball.
