So many dumbfricks in here acting like Lonzo ball has the potential to have LeBron/kobe/jordan levels of popularity.

Players 10x popular than Lonzo will ever be don't have the clout to have a homegrown apparel/shoe sponsor.

It seems like there is a lot of opportunity there. You listed a 32 year old, 38 year old, and a 54 year old.

There is definitely room for some young guy to take over a part of the scene. I am not saying it should be Ball, but I don't think the actions of Ball's marketing have been that bad of a move yet. He has gotten an insane amount of publicity.

You mean guys like John Wall, Anthony Davis, James Harden and Russell Westbrook? Kevin Durant? Steph Curry?

What about Giannis? Kyrie? KAT?

99% chance Ball never even sniffs their level of production or popularity in the NBA.

are you going to be buying the shoes or the clothing? everyone here commending LaVar and BBB are missing one huge point. There's no demand for the brand and it's products. The items (both shoes and shirts) is priced at a point which excludes most consumers.

Unfortunately, the only demographic that might be interested in this brand (8-16 yr old male) can't afford it on their own, and good luck convincing a parent to buy their kids a $50 t shirt. Further, in terms of fashion trends and styles, BBB is way off. Anyone 18+ isn't wearing clothing with huge, boisterous logos.

LaVar is pricing everything as if BBB is a luxury brand and it absolutely isnt. It's comparable to And1. Nike and Jumpman/Jordan, 2 brands that have much more prestige, clout and history than BBB price their shirts at about 50% of BBB.

Everyone saying that this could work for them if Lonzo turns into a star is dead wrong. Superstar or not, there's no demand for the brand.
