re: Propane torch weed control

I bought that exact one to try for weed burning in my garden. Problem i have is it seems to get it hot enough to burn the weeds I feel like its too much heat for my plants. I'm just gonna get a bale of hay and cover everything except about a 1' circle at my plants. Should just smother the weeds and not let them grow.

But i do use that torch to burn my ditch and it great to get charcoal evenly lit up on the pit and ready to cook.
