This is the same guy who is the president of the dickie Brennan restaurant group. Apparently he is bending over for mitch to take down the monument. I'm going to email him and let him know if he doesn't stop this he can forget me ever going to another dickie Brennan's restaurant or attending another event at the park (or even renewing my membership).

City Park said on the day the suit was filed that if the land was determined to be theirs, they would move the statue.

Has it even been established that city park owns the land? I thought it is just a possibility.

I'm sure a strongly worded email will change his mind

Maybe not, and probably not the threat of not eating at his group restaurants or canceling my annual donation (membership) to the park. But if I sit idly by, I'm condoning the behavior.

People adorned in confederate uniforms should stand outside his restaurants and wander around the park during Christmas in the Oaks.

tLSU I can assure you that the city owns and maintains all of the roadways around the statue. Even if the statue is not the city's it is in the right-of-way and the city can remove it.
