Why in the hell would you want to walk to the front of the boat and drop the ipilot ( which is a pain in the arse ) and find the remote to spot lock it instead of just dropping the power pole down with a touch of a button ?

one the I pilot isn't a pain, its pretty simple to deploy. two, the power pole is only good for so many feet. I use the I pilot all the time in deeper water and offshore. keeps me where I need to be and I don't have to throw an anchor.

so to OP yes a power pole and an pilot is a very nice addition to a boat.
