At 20%, an open society will be in the process of abdicating to Islam.
The point I was making was that the demographic projections consistently overstated the growth of that population.

Seems odd how these days nationalists spend more time talking about the fate of Europe than globalists
Almost like "nations" aren't the actual relevant unit of concern [chin-rub-emoji]
But but but muh globalism!

That is kind of interesting. I wonder why they nationalized them?
If I had to guess, it's probably been that way since the Ancien regime when the Bourbons ran the joint.

I understand. I'm just saying that when it reaches 20%, the battle will already be over.

Under a 1905 law, Notre-Dame de Paris is among seventy churches in Paris built before that year that are owned by the French State. While the building itself is owned by the state, the Catholic Church is the designated beneficiary, having the exclusive right to use it for religious purpose in perpetuity. The archdiocese is responsible for paying the employees, security, heating and cleaning, and assuring that the cathedral is open for free to visitors. The archdiocese does not receive subsidies from the French State.[17]

During the revolutionary era but prior to Napoleon, the revolutionary government sold off vast tracts of church (and aristocratic) land to settle the debts accumulated by the acien regime and its collaborators.
During the Bourbon restoration much of the aristocratic holdings were restored but comparatively little church land was redistributed back to the RCC.

No pity for the French whenever their next big terror attack happens.
They voted for more of it.
They deserve it.
They voted for more of it.
They deserve it.

Not as fast as with Le Pen. She wanted to ban all public displays of religion. That probably includes a war against churches that display any type of Christian symbols or statues that contain the word "God".
You guys need to stop with that BS, you don't have a clue what you're talking about : D
She is a christian who wants to "re-christinize" France. She is also a racist populist who wanted to target muslims to gain some votes. And when I read some idiots on this board, it works =)

Wow. I mean if someone said we deserved 9/11 for voting for Dubya instead of Gore they would be rightly destroyed but you're going there. What an a-hole.

Just telling you the truth. Sorry you don't like it.
Macron will import more MUSLIMS. Macron says "terrorism is a fact of life" in France and to "get used to it".
They voted for this mindset. They will get more terrorism as a result. They deserve it.

I don't think it will get to that percentage. Regardless, if the French Muslim population continues to increase, I don't think France would necessarily succumb. In the French case, immigration in earnest from Algeria as a nation-state began after WWII. France and its colony were fairly integrated. By 1954 there were nearly 200,000-300,000 Algerians in France. The war for independence caused a lot of bitterness. After the war, immigration programs discriminated against Algerians specifically, which created the ghetto situation we now see.
Now you have 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants who aren't accepted in Algeria nor in France, which creates room for supranational identities like Islamism to take hold.
The Algerians who have integrated don't show high levels of orthodoxy, but the continued alienation is problematic, especially with the presence of Islamism.

Orthodoxy isn't necessary from the perspective of adherence to mores for Islam to be a political force. Plenty of the Islamic terrorists aren't "orthodox" by the traditional definitions of orthodoxy.

Be sure to put up your "Pray for France" Facebook filter the next time a jihadi murders a couple hundred French.
It'll happen again, without a doubt. Le Pen was the only hope for reeling it back in.

Damn, doubling down on being a piece of shite? You probably sympathized with those who celebrated when we were attacked too, didn't you?

From Yahoo front page story about election results
Wow...
quote:
The results revealed Macron was favoured among wealthier, better educated citizens in cities, while Le Pen drew support in the countryside as well as poverty-hit areas in the south and rustbelt northeast.
Wow...
