Either you are a curmudgeon that hates people, or a hipster (jazz fest is great, Mardi Gras sucks-->jazz fest suck, French quarter fest is awesome, , FQ fest sucks, etc. )

Are you really judging people for wearing t shirts at a fricking music festival? What do you expect them to wear? Suits? frick off, old man.

One thing I do know is that I hated leaving Jazz Fest. It was the only year that I went.

That is one sketchy assed place to be walking around drunk in the evening or night trying to get a cab. Has this improved at all? This was probably 2008-9?

It was kind of sketchy in that Gentilly side of the fest, but it's better. I've only heard of one incident outside the gates in the last 10 years.

The side towards Esplanade is solid

If you hate Jazz Fest then you're doing it wrong and going for the wrong reasons.

The only people I know that hate jazz fest are pussies.

The OP wears an LSU football jersey with some 17-year-old kids last name printed on the back of the jersey to LSU tailgate all during the fall and he's judging people for wearing a T-shirt to a music festival

What a fig

Quit whining like broke motor, pry your dumb uncultured azz away from Acura and Congo Square and go sit in the Blues or Jazz Tent all day.

It's been probably 15 years since I made the fest...but back in the days when I was always there, Liuzza's by the Track was my start / end place for the day.
