Pics of snakes found?
Only real snake repellent that works is removing the food/prey supply. Most will tell you that the commercial repellents do not work, and specifically do not work on Cottonmouths. I'm not sure if they claim to work on copperheads. Those are really the only ones you should worry about. If you have other "large" snakes like rat snakes, there is a reason. I'll let you figure that out.
Also, the commercial "repellents" are usually harmful if ingested by other animals, such as pets. So, you have that to think about.

This. The chemical stuff will only work in small test cages. In order to get enough out to work outside, it would probably repel/kill you, your family, dog, and neighbors. But, it makes some people feel better to spread stuff around.
Just learn about snakes and don't overreact.

The snakes dont bother me. I'm just worried about my kids and very small dog.
I had a baby copperhead in my pool last year. The skins I've found were garter and rat snake skin. 3ft was the longest one. Don't have pics. I have found 6 snake skins in two weeks.
I use to have two stray cats hangout on my property but I havent seen them in a while.
The only thing I could think of is that I have tons of lizards.
