QB, RB, FB, TE, K, & P are pretty much set. LS is undetermined, but who really gives a rat's arse. Who do you think wins these position battles?

#4 & #5 WR - Coleman, Tommylee Lewis, Lampman, Williams-Lambert, Corey Fuller, Rashad Lawrence, Travin Dural, Ahmad Fulwood

#8 OL - Landon Turner, Jack Allen, John Fullington, Cameron Lee, Clint Van Horn, Cameron Tom, Andrew Lauderdale, Collin Buchanan

#4 DT(assuming Onyemata is counted as a DE) - Ashaad Mabry, Justin Zimmer, Devaroe Lawrence, Charles Walker

#6 DE(if we keep this many) - Tapp, Gwachum, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Mitchell Loewen, DJ Pettway, Royce LaFrance

#5 & #6 LB - Stupar, Anthony, Te'o, Travis Feeney, Adam Bighill, Sae Tautu

#5 & #6 CB(if we decide to keep 6) - Crawley, Swann, DeVante Harris, Taveze Calhoun, Anthony Gaitor, Jimmy Pruitt, Forrest Hightower, Arthur Maulet

#5 Safety - Erik Harris, Banjo, Keo, Robenson Therezie

My guess...

#4/#5 WR - Coleman & Travin Dural. I like Lampman's chances as well. I think Kamara & Ginn make Tommylee expendable.

#8 OL - Landon Turner. Jack Allen as well if we keep 9(I think we stash him on the PS & sign him to the roster if Unger goes down. Kelemete would be our emergency backup Center during the game that Unger goes down in).

#4 DT - Ashaad Mabry

#6 DE - Tapp. I'm rooting for Al-Quadin Muhammad, though.

#5/#6 LB - Stupar & Te'o. Tough choice between Te'o & Anthony. Bighill to the PS is likely imo.

#5/#6 CB - Swann & Crawley. Fortunately all these guys are PS eligible, so #7 & #8 will most likely to stashed.

#5 Safety - Erik Harris

We should have a VERY talented Practice Squad compared to the last few years. Like a lot better. Don't be surprised if we get poached.

If the cuts happen that way...these would be my 10 PS guesses...

QB Garrett Grayson, FB John Robinson-Woodgett, WR Jake Lampman, OC Jack Allen, DT Charles Walker, DE Al-Quadin Muhammad, LB Adam Bighill, LB Sae Tautu, CB DeVante Harris, CB Arthur Maulet

Good stuff. Just a couple of notes.

We've kept as many as 10 OL before, and this year may seriously keep 9. I imagine that will be one of the last cut downs whether we keep 8 or 9.

It's possible we keep 6 WRs, though looking at the depth there vs. elsewhere I doubt it.

We keep at least 6 LBs every year, but iirc we very often carry 7 (because of special teams and needing bigger "speed" guys on the field to take on and beat blocks). I think there's a VERY good chance we go 7 because of the depth there.

I don't think we keep 6 CBs this year. Even though he was forced into action with some starts, Crawley is still very green. Swann also is no lock after several concussion and now a leg injury last year. PJ's health is still in question unless I missed something (though if healthy no doubt he makes it).

Safety is more likely to have 6 guys. Again bigger speed guys on STs to tackle, and several of the guys there are known for STs, unlike the corners.

And I hate to say this cause I'll wring Payton's neck, but there is an off chance we keep 5 HBs. Just don't Payton. Let the dream live.

Also, without having seen these guys play and having to guess, that's a damn good PS list and pretty close to my guess.

Is this the last year Grayson can be on the practice squad?
