It did reportedly go off. This isn't the first time I've heard this. Pretty sure a gun going off is a pretty good indicator that he is armed. I've also read that he was trying to pull it out while they were fighting and cops knew what it was and he wouldn't stop, so they shot. No matter what, it was a good shoot.

Rumor is that it was a modified 38 that had a trigger requiring almost no pressure to fire... almost a tap. No idea if that is accurate. Just word on the skreets.

I've read/heard everything from it went off and actually shot himself in the leg, it just went off, and he was just trying to get it and cops shoot first. I have consistently heard he had a weapon though.
