Of course. There will be liquidation cascades on the perp markets. As to anyone's guess?

Most alt coins on Coinbase will 20-30x from cycle low. Stronger alt coins can 2-3x from previous cycle ATH. Pick a conservative price target and you won’t miss.

That said, there are some I’m not sure about like ADA. 30x from cycle low and 2-3x previous ATH would put that around 7 bucks a coin. That seems pretty lofty but I guess if you look back, most ATHs of alts seemed lofty at this point in the cycle.

The TD Money Talk index is still low. When you see 10 crypto threads on the front page, start worrying.

I have a list of things that I need to pay off or buy that are peace of mind type purchases, like some debt and my years of active service to add to my retirement, things like that.

If I hit that number, I am out regardless of where we are in the bull market. If its tomorrow and I think there is another year left, enjoy the run guys

and to cover the taxes for selling that shite

I’ve taken a sabbatical from this website for a while, but had to chime in to say congrats to all of you who navigated the bear market and are making/in the process of making some life changing wealth

There’s a whole lot of bumpable content from the last two years.

You and I basically have the same mindset.

As an aside, I think something else being lost in the discussion here is the level of inflation that has occurred between now and 2021. I don’t think there’s ever been as much inflation inbetween cycles.

65k in 2021 is 74k in 2024. That complicates certain concepts and targets.

Man - I am of the same mindset right now. Trying to figure out what I will do if BTC goes $100k+..

I have a 5 year goal to buy my "dream" land on 100 acres and build a house there in about 5 years.

I'm basically at the point with BTC that I could get the land now, if we hit $100-150k..Watch out.

I've been a BTC maxi that was gonna hold forever, let's see how strong my conviction is IF we hit these prices.

Is this a situation where the halfening is being priced-in already, so that when it happens there won't be much effect? Or the very nature of the halfening prevents that?

Probably, but no way to know if its now or 2 weeks from now and the pull back is to a value higher than it is today

Personally I think we see the price action building up to where its priced in at that time and we get a correction or at least a range for awhile

I think the halvening has less effect now that we have the ETFs.

9000-10000 bitcoins are being gobbled up a day by the ETFs. 900 are being created a day through mining and that goes down to 450 new supply a day after the halvening. Not that big of an effect when you have the 10,000lb gorilla eating everything up
