Not sure they answered the question about the byes.
It is actually the top 2 teams in each division.
2 SEC West and 2 SEC East
So for instance if the final records were
Auburn 20-10
UK 19-11
MSU 19-11
Arkansas 18-12
UF 17-13
#1 Auburn #1 West
#2 UK #1 East
#3 MSU #2 West
#4 UF #2 East
#5 Arkansas
