re: My wife was just offered a promotion in Dallas

Left Louisiana for North Texas 27 years ago and have never wavered about the decision. Granted, am about two hours north, northwest of DFW but the quality of life is way beyond anything Louisiana has to offer. Is a great State which has held to her past while looking forward. Our three children were born in Louisiana but consider themselves Texans, was very easy to assimilate.
