We had the option to move to Dallas or Austin in the same situation. My wife chose the Austin job.

I had to find new work. If you're worried about finding work, the Austin job market dwarfs New Orleans by a lot. Dallas is even better.

It will floor you how silly it all is.

i was looking for entry-level jobs in both areas until very recently. the difference is incredible.

new orleans might as well be bunkie compared to dallas.
