Not sure what you're wanting to hear. Market IN Dallas is pretty hot/high similar to New Orleans, but tons safer.
Depends on what really moves your needle, but I moved from Nola to Dallas and it was a great move for me. There are TONS of Louisiana/LSU people over here.

I think its a much better situation in DFW right now. The market is on fire. Plenty of opportunity, stuff to do, and you're not too far from Louisiana.
