Doesn't have anything to do with the layoffs. Cord cutting and escalating rights fees have caused ESPN to hemorrhage money.

losing viewers has nothing to do with losing money? you must work at espn.

Exactly....just switched to a Directv plan with no ESPN....they're the most expensive cable channel out there charging the average subscriber $7-8 monthly for their service. I don't watch it other than football season and I can learn to do without it then as well I suppose.
