yup. lets say i'm in florida on vacation and my house stops working because the hub crashed. i can just open the wink app on my phone, turn the outlet off and back on and reset the hub.

oohh ok cause the outlet isnt just connected to the wink.

If the hub crashed, how are you going to use it to control the plug to reset it?

Eta just read the above response. Does the wink app not go through the hub?
