Ran across these catalogs while trying to cross reference models, as they changed naming conventions many moons ago, was researching for second Yairi.

Cool. Mine is an '87 DY-38, with the "50th Anniversary" plaque on back of the headstock. I regularly play with a friend with a mid sixties Martin D18, this Yairi compares very well with his. The Martin is a bit louder, but the Yairi has the tone.
