One regret is I got the 200 Yamaha. I top out at 45 loaded out. Not too bad but wish I would have gotten the 250. Let me know if you have any other questions

The one I am looking at has the 225 SHO. My only question about that motor is it is a 20" motor. Boat has a 25" transom. Motor is on a jack plate. Any issues with this setup?

You will be fine. Grt a 12" plate. The further back your motor is the higher the water is coming off the hull

I have the 6" with a 6" setback and no issues. But again I have the 200 not the 225 or 250 SHO.
